Let me explain something:

Step 1; Open FLStudio 5/6.
Step 2; Download midi file, insert into FL.
Step 3; With no effort, use one of your illigally downloaded plugins such as Edirol or Garritan.
Soon to be East West.
Step 4; Replace instruments.
Step 5; Add tempo changes
Step 6; Submit.

This is the recipy to become the most pathedic scum at newgrounds.
I only like your one last song you did with your keyboard, even though it was off-tempo and everything. Because there actually was some feckin effort.

And don't give me that "bought" bullshit.
You couldn't make music for shit until SmartPoetic told you how to midi-rip.
and NOONE would buy those VSTi's when they're that damn new to the whole composing thing.

Klace responds:

*sigh*
Another one of these reviews.
To start it off, I do not MIDI rip, I import the MIDI Into my Finale Demo, then get the Sheet music, print it out, then play it, so yes my music resembles that of the MIDI's I used to compose it.
As for Ilegally downloading my software, I wouldn't do that at all, especially when I plan to be composing pretty much my wholf life onward from now.

I can obviously tell your just jealous, because otherwise there would be no reason for this review at all.

I used to like your music, but now you've got a downvoter, Good day.

Rock on!

You made my brain die by making such awesome tunes ! >:(
Let's hold hands and call satan over for pizza ! >:(
Or not, ok.
This song was really great productionwise and great job with the guitar.
The score is...because I'm bored. (You know I love you) Continue rocking !

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Pizza and Satan. Thanks for the score, and the kick ass review!!\m/ Your music is phenominal, so...ROCKING ON MOTHERFUCKER>

This one made me laugh.

One of the fewer tracks with actual vocals at this webpage. Sound's really great :)
5/5 and much hugs >:(

Bezo responds:

Aw, thanks. Hugs...weird.

A lot of my songs have vocals. Not as much as I'd like, I must admit.

Glad you liked it.

Great song.

Was a beautiful song, And I've been anticipating and hoping for some more stuff from you.
(Long Time-Listener).
So I hope my 5 will do you some good :)

Bezo responds:

Thanks a lot. I've been anticipating and hoping for some more stuff from myself as well. I have done so little lately.

Nice.

Ok, BMI---
That was some smooth guitar playing and I'm rather impressed.
The drums was simple, but worked throughout the song just fine.
I'm impressed of your vocal skills---not that many that can actually sing at this website.
However--If you messed up somewhere, I'll say the same to you as with MaestroSorrow.
It was with the equalizing.
I feel that this track should have more bass on that el-guitar.
So it don't sound that thin.

Anyhow--Check out my music if you find the time.
pretty much the same genre as MaestroSorrow does.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks man. The song is really cool. I wasn't the artist that performed the music. It would be real kickass with a bass line though. Thanks for the awesome review and when I get home from work, I will give your stuff a listen. \m/

Ok; My first review in ages.

And only because it's you.

Ok---In the beginning I felt it was lacking depth. And once again.
I feel that your percussion is good.
But overpower too much.
You have great melodic lines going, however;
You once again have not put enough emphasis on the contrabass (if there even is one).
So the track seems too thin throughout the whole thing.

You had alot action in this piece, which I liked.
And great use of the bells.
The choir sounded rather fake---but unless you feel like spending thousands of dollars---I can see why. So dont worry there.

Your clarity is rather bad, due to no equalizing.
Making this track sound rather washed out (Like my previous tracks, before I mastered equalizing.)

You're a great composer Sorrow---But there are still errors that need correction.
I'll admit that I've lost alot of my own melodic feel, but you still have yours.

The way I see it in this track--You had alot great idea's, just not executed well enough.

-Sorry for being harsh, and I hope you'll forgive me :P

-Christian Sandviknes

MaestroSorrow responds:

Pfft, Silly Zeth, you're true words and facts do not phase me! I turn a blind eye to your review --_--!

No No I joke, I jest, I jibe. Whenever I make a song of this caliber (ie, more then 10 instruments), equalizing becomes so friggen hard, and I understand that. I guess I just need to pay more attention to what i'm doing with those lil knobs.

Do not apologize for your thoughts Zeth, they were good ones. Thanks for the review ^^.

Standard Ambient.

Ok, as far as I could hear, this was mostly standard ambience with some new elements that I dont hear too often, like a melody.
Weird enough, This was one of the first ambient pieces where I've heard anything even close to a melody.

Anyways, I think you should turn up the volume of the thing that gives an indicator of the melody just a tad bit.

Though, One of the better ambience pieces I've come across.

-Christian S.

LJCoffee responds:

Anything resembling a melody was purely accidental

:D

Your review was very accurate - "mostly standard" is probably the best way to describe it.

Thanks!

(Blatant praise in Norwegian here)

Ok, First of all.
This is probably the most professional sounding metalsong I've heard on the AP.
The beginning reminds me of Duke nukem, and then over to dragonforce/metalcan XD
Anyways, I cant seem to find anything I'd like to comment in specific, because it was all great.
And no, this is not ONLY to get you into making me a sig. :P
Keep on rocking, or in our primary language.
Fortsett å steine. XD

(I've voted all your stuff, downloaded all your stuff, and given you a review)

Metalcan responds:

Haha! Thanks for the kind words, and payment in advance. :) Sure I'll make you a sig!

I'll try to give in-depth.

First off; the reason I'm reviewing your work, is that you are making my sig (You probably was joking about that, But I think you need/deserve it
^-^ )

Ok; The drums gave me a hip-hop feel and I was scared. But when the acoustic guitar came in, Everything was ok and I could go back to my original task of finding errors/good things.
I think you should have given a piano a more or less dominant role, and given it a melody line that could answer the the guitar.

Nice way of filtering some parts of the song, whilst the guitar could play.
I'd love to find alot of errors, but I cant.
Its a damn well composed song you got here.
But I'll blame it on you being older than most people here?

Anyways, For the drums and such, what program did you use?

-Christian Sandviknes

LJCoffee responds:

Hey thanks - yeah I wasn't really serious about the reviews and such but I do appreciate it!

Programs - this one was mostly Acid Pro and Reaktor 5.

Exceptional

I'm guilty of the crime of not visiting your page until now, So I hope you may forgive me.
Ok, I'll try to be constructive.

This song in itself is very emotional, but the volume isnt tuned correctly (after my opinion).
The percussion and the piano, is correct, but the violin/viola should be a bit louder.
The strings you added had a nice feel to them, and the effects you used at various times fit quite well.

The flute as well, is at a level of too low volume, It all seemed drowned as well, due to a bit mistakes in the equalizing (I recently begun learning equalizing myself).

But this conjures some pretty darn emotional pictures, and would fit in a dark/tragic scene.

-Christian Sandviknes-

Ps; Check out my tunes if you get the time.

MaestroSorrow responds:

heh, equalizing is a pretty big pain for me, im confident one day i'll master it >_<!

Thanks for the suggestions, I will consider and adjust the piece accordingly.
