"I saw this one being lonely without reviews."
I didn't really like the intro part, and I really hated the synth strings, as for it being bad. Though the song catched up with me later on, after the reverse cymbal.
Well; I cant see too much to say about this song.
Good work--Keep it up.

Ok, as far as I could hear, this was mostly standard ambience with some new elements that I dont hear too often, like a melody.
Weird enough, This was one of the first ambient pieces where I've heard anything even close to a melody.
Anyways, I think you should turn up the volume of the thing that gives an indicator of the melody just a tad bit.
Though, One of the better ambience pieces I've come across.
-Christian S.
Author's Response:
Anything resembling a melody was purely accidental
:D
Your review was very accurate - "mostly standard" is probably the best way to describe it.
Thanks!

Ok, First of all.
This is probably the most professional sounding metalsong I've heard on the AP.
The beginning reminds me of Duke nukem, and then over to dragonforce/metalcan XD
Anyways, I cant seem to find anything I'd like to comment in specific, because it was all great.
And no, this is not ONLY to get you into making me a sig. :P
Keep on rocking, or in our primary language.
Fortsett å steine. XD
(I've voted all your stuff, downloaded all your stuff, and given you a review)
Author's Response:
Haha! Thanks for the kind words, and payment in advance. :) Sure I'll make you a sig!

Ok, the first that struck my mind, was "Oh god, the eighties" but it's a pretty damn nice composed song technical wise, just found it to be a bit too much repitition at it.
And I'm not a personal fan of the style, but I tried to not let that influence my review TOO much as my life is music really.
Ok; This was your second review, and I've voted on your stuff (like....5 songs or so)
and downloaded both the ones I reviewed =)

First off; the reason I'm reviewing your work, is that you are making my sig (You probably was joking about that, But I think you need/deserve it
^-^ )
Ok; The drums gave me a hip-hop feel and I was scared. But when the acoustic guitar came in, Everything was ok and I could go back to my original task of finding errors/good things.
I think you should have given a piano a more or less dominant role, and given it a melody line that could answer the the guitar.
Nice way of filtering some parts of the song, whilst the guitar could play.
I'd love to find alot of errors, but I cant.
Its a damn well composed song you got here.
But I'll blame it on you being older than most people here?
Anyways, For the drums and such, what program did you use?
-Christian Sandviknes
Author's Response:
Hey thanks - yeah I wasn't really serious about the reviews and such but I do appreciate it!
Programs - this one was mostly Acid Pro and Reaktor 5.

I'm guilty of the crime of not visiting your page until now, So I hope you may forgive me.
Ok, I'll try to be constructive.
This song in itself is very emotional, but the volume isnt tuned correctly (after my opinion).
The percussion and the piano, is correct, but the violin/viola should be a bit louder.
The strings you added had a nice feel to them, and the effects you used at various times fit quite well.
The flute as well, is at a level of too low volume, It all seemed drowned as well, due to a bit mistakes in the equalizing (I recently begun learning equalizing myself).
But this conjures some pretty darn emotional pictures, and would fit in a dark/tragic scene.
-Christian Sandviknes-
Ps; Check out my tunes if you get the time.
Author's Response:
heh, equalizing is a pretty big pain for me, im confident one day i'll master it >_<!
Thanks for the suggestions, I will consider and adjust the piece accordingly.

This was overall a nice piece, because of it being halfly-soothing; but I think you could have been a bit more diverse and perhaps added a piano or something like that as the melodic piece.
It got slightly repetive after a while; But it's not that bad really; just that alot of people will dislike that.
It aint the worst Ambient i've heard; but you still some things you would want to learn
So; I guess you use FL after I heard some standard effects? And what samples do you use?
-Christian Sandviknes
(Check out my new song if you get the time, Its a forest theme, and my second remix)
Author's Response:
Thanx for the review...
I agree about the redundency-I didnt think each individual notation pattern was that many bars until i looked at the size of the file. lol I actually had to remix and size it down.
And its funny you mention the piano bit, I was gonna do that but i don't know what happend?! *takes notes*
My prog, lol, NOT FL, I cant stand FL for some Reason. But I did use basic filtering and phasing. No sampling, pure raw synth :)

Since I havent had the time; Or the will to do so.
Ok; First of all.
This is out of yours, my favorite song.
I'd like to see out every mistake you've done, but the thing is that I dont know what I dont like by this.
It's quite epic; And I see no mistakes with it.
Good Going Winterwind; And nice seing that you entered Omnishadow.

I'm not a fan of loops; Will never be.
But since this thing had no reviews.
I gave it one.
It's good melodic-wise; but it seems to have some sort of dissonance in the middle (dont know if that was on purpose) but I dont quite like it.
The drums were simplistic, but still worked just great.
I didnt like the long notes of the synth; saw of some kind?
Anyways; You got better pieces; but this was just a loop. (Sorry if I sound like a fuckin idiot, I just stood up)
Anyways; Check out my new song if you get the time
