Castle Siege

"Ok, Just to set a couple of things clear."

submission: Castle Siege
date: November 21, 2005

To the creator of the dragonslayer, Your game is a defense game, its REALLY not the first, and seriously wont be the last.
-Inspiration is something you take from everyone, you dont just simply do random shit hoping for good stuff, you'll be influenced even if you like it or not.
The author did probably see a couple of defense games, not nessicerely yours though.

As for the last reviewer, i once again must repeat myself, it probably is similiar to others like this, but i think this one in itself is original.

Ok, Now for a review.

Graphics; They were good, even though 2D, and fairly balanced through the whole thing.

Sound: Meh, Bad artist.
Zeth dont know how to make good music, hang him, now.

Style: I liked how you set everything up, even though its cliche and overused, It's still a pretty good setup and you get loads of spare time thrown away.

Violence: Blood, Death.
It works.

Overall: It's a good game with n00b music and the music kills the game :|

FFVI: A New Hero 2

"You seem to have a spark for these FF flashes."

submission: FFVI: A New Hero 2
date: August 2, 2005

Which i find good, You do what you do well, and i am aroused by the style you put into it, the movements are excellent and the sprite-animation is at top.

The stories is good as well (generally speaking about your flashes)
and they all take place in a good designed world (FF6)

Continue to make, and I'll continue to watch, deal?

Author's Response:

sounds like a deal to me.

Me Talking to Myself

"Ian, You never told me about this?"

date: July 30, 2005

Ok, im gonna judge without the fact that you're my friend.

Graphics: this one had an improvement from the other flashes, but the shading was a bit wrong. The landscape was drawn well though.

Style: I certainly liked the style on this one, with the whole music and everything, the atmosphere overall.

Sound: Needs improvement, need voices with a decent mic to be any good.

Humor: I found the whole idea amusing, and the arguement was fun enough, so im giving a decent score

Overall: You never told me about this! but its cool indeed.

Author's Response:

Zeth!! My favorite norwegian guy!! yeah, sorry for not teeling you, but I didnt tell anybody... It was just a crazy idea I felt an urge to animate! Thanks a lot for the honest review, it means a lot! I promise my next sudden side project will need a beautiful epic song:P!!

~|Ultros Crashes the Opera|~

"Let me explain something:"

date: August 15, 2006

Step 1; Open FLStudio 5/6.
Step 2; Download midi file, insert into FL.
Step 3; With no effort, use one of your illigally downloaded plugins such as Edirol or Garritan.
Soon to be East West.
Step 4; Replace instruments.
Step 5; Add tempo changes
Step 6; Submit.

This is the recipy to become the most pathedic scum at newgrounds.
I only like your one last song you did with your keyboard, even though it was off-tempo and everything. Because there actually was some feckin effort.

And don't give me that "bought" bullshit.
You couldn't make music for shit until SmartPoetic told you how to midi-rip.
and NOONE would buy those VSTi's when they're that damn new to the whole composing thing.

Author's Response:

*sigh*
Another one of these reviews.
To start it off, I do not MIDI rip, I import the MIDI Into my Finale Demo, then get the Sheet music, print it out, then play it, so yes my music resembles that of the MIDI's I used to compose it.
As for Ilegally downloading my software, I wouldn't do that at all, especially when I plan to be composing pretty much my wholf life onward from now.

I can obviously tell your just jealous, because otherwise there would be no reason for this review at all.

I used to like your music, but now you've got a downvoter, Good day.

"You stole my ascii."

date: August 14, 2006

Bastard.
Anyways, beautifully created my friend, I enjoy these kind of tracks, and I'm glad you begun submitting to NG.

The oboe lead could have been better, but I'm a sucker for the last part.
Anyways, Great song, keep it up.
